We are excited to have just had another fantastic dealer training event! This training session was the first to have mainly dealers who are newer to the VPI family within the past 3 years. As usual, our dealer training event consisted an overview of the VPI product line, a presentation on the direction of the company, announcement to the dealership of new products, and hands on experience with VPI product. All dealers who attended were educated on the following:
- Cartridge setup and alignment, led by Analog Planet‘s Michael Fremer.
- VPI motor construction and wiring.
- Turntable build instruction.
- Tonearm build and how to upgrade the arm.
In addition we taught the attending dealers about other techniques and VPI methodology for both current and past models.
Another exciting part of the event was teaching the dealership about the differences between the SDS and ADS by our Director of Electrical Engineer, Mike Bettinger (click here to read more about it and talk directly with Mike).
In addition, we had our Customer Service Director Marc Boyle go over the sonic difference between a standard VPI JMW-3D and a reference VPI JMW-3D arm with Nordost cable. The training weekend was a success and has brought more education to our VPI team/family!
