My Dynavector DV-20X2 low output sounds excellent on my Scoutmaster and sounded excellent as well on my Scout. Just a great sounding cart but you'll need a lomc preamp with a good amount of gain to get the best from it.
We don’t actually use it that often, but we still have quite a few LPs from 40 (gulp) years ago. Looking for something decent but no need to go overboard. I haven’t replaced the needle in years so I’m really not up on the market at all.
You could look at the Ortofon 2M Blue
Sorry for delay in responding. Welcoming our first grandchild to the world.
Scout currently has a red Ortofon on it. Connected to a Yamaha RX-V995 receiver. Equipment is probably a good ten years old.
Only use it occasionally, so not looking to break the bank. But I want something decent.
Would you like to tell me your budget? long read sequencing

Are you looking for high output or low? Budget?
I’m loving my Hanna Umami Blue on my Prime 21. Great review here: https://trackingangle.com/equipment/hana-umami-blue-cartridge-review. Fairly expensive, with emphasis on “fairly” — tracks brilliantly and truly.
