I have the VPI Primte Scout 21 which I do like very much , however I wish I could adjust the tone arm better
so it would lift off the album and could be lowered completely down onto the album. Due to medical issues my hands shake so placing the arm on the album and removing it can be a tricky chore for me. Any suggestions ? As of right now the arm lowers just above the album, it doesn't go completly down which is a bummer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
thanks, Robert

No I haven't. I dont think I have the appropiate tool for that. What type of tool would be needed ? thank you for the help
Hey Robert, sorry to hear about the situation in general and hoping I can help streer you through soem options. First, I have to recommend a gimbal over a uni pivot in this case. Much easier to handel and use especially if your hand shakes. Also in regards to the arm lifter, check your height adjustment to make sure you have enough clearance. Otherwise if it is slow it might be the fluid inside is a bit locked up and needs to get worked in or adusted a bit. Do you have to push the lifter down for it to make contact? Talk soon!
