Howdy. The nylon pulley on my machine seems to have lost its grip on the metal (motor?) shaft and is wobbling while in rotation. This creates a vibration that can be clearly heard in the signal. I can't find much online for a solution. Any advice?
That particular pulley uses a interference fit (friction) to secure it to the pulley. Lubricate the pulley shaft with water, and heat the pulley with a hair dryer. The heat will expand the pulley hole. Simple put the heated pulley back and the shaft and push down...not too hard as you don't want to hurt the motor. Good luck
