Based on his actions, he obviously does not care. My opinion of VPI has changed as a result.

I think the benefit is stability. I use it 100% of the time - for the past 12 years! I like the ring also but the price of that now is rediculous. It came with my Classic 3 in 2012.

I use it without the ring quite a bit. No problems. Also use it with the ring when the LP is warped..

This forum is a bust compared to the old one. Matt should realize he is pissing off good customers who used to benefit from the old forum. Surprising.

Everyone is having issues. Thats why there is no traffic on this forum, as stated before. Why can't it be like the original forum? That one was user friendly, busy, and informative/helpful. And had to be good for business.

Now, now. Stay positive!

Looks like even posting a new comment (as opposed to replying to someone else's comment) also does not bring the subject to the top of the list. Not good.

Thanks Matt. I'm hoping this forum becomes as useful as the old one. I used that one every day, this one very seldom. I learned quite a bit about how to manage my Classic 3 onthe old forum and ended up with 4 VPI tonearms. Never would have happened without the forum! Another thing I noticed: There is a thread called "Feet for an Avenger". It says there are 12 comments but ony 6 comments show up. Not sure of this is chronic or not.

Matt - can the current format be changed as described in BRF's initial post?

Another comment- I don't think this forum will take off (like the old original VPI forum) until the format is fixed. It keeps me from even looking at it and its obvious it keeps many people away. The bad format also ruined the aborted attempt at a new forum last year. That one was really bad also. Mat - please go to the format from the original forum! I learned so much about VPI products from that one.

Yes, the format should be as you describe in the 2nd paragraph above. Just like Audiogon and others. The current VPI forum format can be very difficult to follow. Thanks BRF!

Same thing happened to me and VPI supplied the weights BRF correctly points out. The smaller weights are perfect. I have 2 of these tonearms.

Any info on the MSRP? Thanks.

Sleeve City USA has large sleeves that work really well.
