VPI's Forever Series Model One: A Grand Debut at Capital Audiofest 2024
We were thrilled to unveil our much-anticipated VPI Forever Series, Model One turntable at Capital Audiofest 2024! This marked the national debut of our latest innovation, moving the needle forward in both product design and performance. The Forever Series pays homage to VPI’s rich tradition and earlier designs, while incorporating the latest advancements in machining, precision, and technology.
The Launch System
Partnering with some of the finest names in high-end audio, we crafted a system that delivered an unforgettable sonic experience. Here’s a closer look at the exceptional components we featured in our launch room (Adams Room):
Turntable and Cartridge

Our new Forever Series exemplifies VPI’s dedication to excellence. Both cartridges—Shyla and Goldy—showcased their unique sonic signatures, offering a dynamic, immersive experience. We also utilized our VPI ADS (Analog Drive System) to easily change speed between 33 and 45.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the show is having Mat, Harry Weisfeld, and the rest of the family together, sharing and presenting the systems and their music. When given the choice between "hearing the system" or "hearing good music," we always prefer to play the whole record!

The synergy between VPI's turntable and Audio Research electronics was spectacular. The Reference series brought out every detail, capturing the nuances in each recording and demonstrating the full potential of the Model One. We like to remind everyone that we didn't just partner with AUdio Research, we bought all of the mentioned equipment to use at shows and our New Jersey showroom.
Speakers
Pure Audio Project with Horn Drivers: $7,500
These speakers, known for their dynamic range and precision, complemented our system beautifully. The horn drivers provided incredible clarity and soundstage, making every note come alive. What makes the Pure Audio Project speakers such a great match is the same paradigm of design where the components are modular and can easily be swapped out like the Model One.
